BENEFITS: Part of your compensation package, a salary negotiation process.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE: The combination of salary and fringe benefits an employer provides and employee.
GROSS PAY: The amount of money you earn before deductions are taken out.

TELECOMMUTING: Employment arrangement where the employee works one or more days from a remote location.
TEMPING: Working short employment stints with a variety of clients, usually through a temping agency or staffing firm.
